Darren Walter works within the WHO Collaborating Centre Emergency Medical Teams and Emergency Capacity Building project at HCRI and is also a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Wythenshawe Hospital, part of Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His research interests are focussed on developing emergency care systems, particularly in low and middle-income countries, with a focus on pre-hospital clinical care and disaster medicine.
